She has styled extensively for the film & print media industry and worked with renowned places & people like Scissor Over Comb and Adhuna Bhabani-Akhtar. She was with Adhuna as Senior Director managing one of the exclusive branches of Juice Hair @ The Courtyard: Colaba- Mumbai. Avan has also worked as an Assistant Director at Script Shop - producing commercials & television serials giving her an overview of the scenario behind the camera.
